Indoor Television Antenna
From MICHLEEWA:
Hi. My husband and I are looking for an indoor television antenna so that we can get our local NBC station. (We're blocked out on DirecTV). Anyway, we know nothing about antennas and am wondering if someone out there can give us some advice. Which antenna (type/brand) is the best and where can we buy it.

FROM THE MAILBOX
From Prom:
I have decided to buy an S-VHS VCR. Probably a JVC SVHS-ET mainly to record movies off of my DirecTV dish. I found your website informative and would like your opinion on really my only remaining question. Do you think it is worth it (about 80 bucks extra) to get one with an S-Video input compared to high quality RCA cable from my direcTV reciever? Is it really that much better? I'm a college student on a budget but I plan to record many movies and am building a quality home theater system.
From Your Guide:
If you have an S-VHS VCR S-video is the only way to go -- you will get better B/W and color separation -- less bleeding on reds and blues and better edge quality.
Remember -- If you record something in the S-VHS or S-VHS-ET format -- it can only be played back on an S-VHS or S-VHS-ET VCR or a standard VCR with S-VHS Quasi-plyaback capability.

A Special Reminder: Although I update this site regularly, sometimes I miss broken links, this is especially a concern as old product listings expire and new ones have different link addresses. If you encounter any broken links in my articles or listings, just bring it to my attention so I can correct the address or delete it from the site if it has expired and can no longer be accessed.
