From Your Guide:
Samsung and RCA have been the most notable manufacturers using DLP technology in projection TVs -- however, others have also jumped on board.
I will be reporting more on DLP projection TVs this coming year.

Shure E2c Stereo Earphones
If you tire of standard stereo headphone bulkiness, then check out the Shure E-series E2c earphones. Shure has taken great care in the design of the E2c. Several benefits to the listener include: extremely compact size, high-energy drivers for high output, great sonic definition at all frequencies, and low distortion compared to similar products. The E2c comes with a compact carrying case for mobile use, but you need to buy a 1/4" headphone adapter to use them with a home audio/theater system.

Cables for Digital Surround Sound
From WTYOW:
1. Which is really better for HT surround sound? Coaxial cable or Toslink. Is there really a different? Does quality of the cable (digital or optical) makes any different?
2. Do I really need a subwoofer cable for my subwoofer or any cable will do. Is there a very big different? If so, please recommend a few cables.

CES 2004 Photo Gallery - Portable Electronics
Check out the latest portable electronics gadgets featured at the recent CES 2004, as reported by Ric Manning, About Guide For Portable Electronics
From R:
After much agonizing I purchased 56" Samsung DLP TV. I noticed your newsletters and articles talk about plasma and LCD but are conspicuously silent about DLP TV technology. Did I make a poor decision . Do you expect other manufactures to start producing DLP TV, or is it dying?
Actually, I am very enthusiastic about DLP technology, but I have been emphasizing its use in video projectors (I actually own a DLP projector), as DLP is used more widely in that type of product -- the DLP technology is the same in both DLP projection TVs and video projectors - the physical application is just different.
