Guide Review - Marantz SR7300ose
The SR7300ose is one of the latest AV receivers from the legendary Marantz, and pulls no punches on features or performance. This unit was excellent in both audio reproduction and video switching capability. Two interesting features I liked were HDCD decoding (which unleashes the extra audio quality hidden in many HDCD-encoded CDs) and Circle Surround II (which provides an excellent immersive 6.1 channel sound field from a variety of source material). In addition, the SR7300ose isn't going to be outdated anytime soon as its RS232 port allows for upgrades as new surround technology becomes available. The SR7300ose is a top notch performer. With everything you need, the SR7300 is definitely a receiver to consider for your home theater.
