Atlona AT-LINE-EX HDMI Media Center Switcher and Scaler - Review
The Atlona AT-LINE-EX is an affordable video switcher/scaler that can be used to connect up to six video input sources (2 analog, 2 PC, 2 HDMI) and pass through or upscale those sources via HDMI to an HDTV. The AT-LINE-EX features 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p scaling, NTSC/PAL bi-directional conversion, and Dolby TrueHD/DTS-HD Master Audio pass through via HDMI. OPPO Digital LT-2007 20-inch LCD-TV DVD Player Combination - Product Review
The OPPO LT-2007 is a 20-Inch LCD TV and DVD Player combination. Ideal for small spaces, the LCD TV section is tiltable, and features a DVD player and audio system housed in its base. In addition, the LT2007 also has additional audio/video inputs, as well as a detachable Digital Camera Card Reader. A VGA input is included for use as a game or computer monitor. NEC NP4001 DLP Video Projector - Product Review and Rating
At an MSRP of $5,999 (not including the lens), the NEC NP4001 is not for the bargain hunter, but is a great value for the high-end home theater enthusiast. With a native pixel resolution of 1280x768 (720p), and dual lamp output of 3,600 to 4,500 lumens, this projector provides excellent image brightness and resolution, especially in large room settings. Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 1080UB 3LCD 1080p Home Theater Projector - Review
At an MSRP of $2,999, the Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 1080UB 3LCD projector is an upgrade of its popular Home Cinema 1080. The main improvements: a second HDMI input, higher lumens output, and better black level performance. Its native 1080p resolution and acceptable light output provide excellent image quality, providing a very natural looking image, with none of the usual LCD artifacts, such as the screen door effect. OPPO Digital DV-970HD DVD Player with HDMI output and SACD/DVD-Audio Playback
The OPPO DV-970HD is a DVD player that will upconvert signal output to either 720p/1080i via its HDMI output. If you own an HD-compatible TV with HDMI (or DVI) input, you can watch DVDs in higher resolution. This works well with Plasma/LCD monitors and DLP video projectors. This unit has all video outputs and features you would expect, and then some, including: CD/CDR/CDRW/MP3/JPG playback and the addition of DVD-Audio, SACD, and DIVX playback. Viewsonic Precision Pro8100 1080p LCD Video Projector - Review and Rating
At $4,995.00, the Viewsonic Precision Pro8100 1080p LCD Video Projector bucks the trend towards sub-$3,000 1080p video projectors, but is worth the extra cash. Its 3LCD chips, native 1080p resolution, and acceptable light output provide excellent image quality, witout susceptbility to the LCD screen door effect. Also, the Pro8100 comes equipped with two HDMI inputs, and provides video upscaling for DVDs via a built-in Silicon Optix Reon-VX HQV video processor. For more details, read my review.

NeoDigits Helios H4000 DVD Player with HDMI Output - DVD Player Product Review
The Helios H4000 is feature-packed DVD player with several innovative features. The H4000 can deliver 720p/1080i/1080p upscaled images through HDMI and/or component video connections. In addition, other features, Region Code Free and PAL/NTSC compatibility add to its flexibility. If you are looking for a new DVD player, whether to use with that new flat panel HDTV and surround sound system, make sure you check Helios H4000.

OPPO DV-981HD DVD Player with HDMI and SACD/DVD-Audio - Review and Rating
The OPPO DV-981HD is feature-packed DVD player that delivers what it promises. HDMI connectivity, 720p/1080i/1080p upscaling, and Faroudja processing enables the DV-981HD to deliver an excellent picture on an HDTV. In addition, other features, such as SACD, DVD-Audio, and Divx playback add great audio and video flexibility. If you are looking for a new DVD player, whether to use with that new flat panel HDTV and surround sound system, make sure you check the OPPO DV-981HD out.

Yamaha RX-V640 AV Receiver
New AV receivers are hitting the market almost as fast as new PCs. Even for us "pros" it is hard to keep up with the latest. However, having had a chance to use the Yamaha RX-V640, I must say that it is an excellent value for those getting started in home theater. For more details, check out this product review.

Yamaha RX-V557 XM-Enabled 6.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver
AV receivers in the $300 - $500 price range now provide performance and flexibility that was once reserved for much higher-priced units. Having had a chance to use the Yamaha RX-V557, I must say that it is an excellent value, with the added bonus of XM Satellite Radio capability. For those wishing to get into home theater with a good performing entry-level AV receiver that is priced resonably, consider the RX-V557 as a possible choice. OPPO Digital BDP-83 Blu-ray Disc Player - Blu-ray Done Right
The OPPO BDP-83 is a feature-packed Blu-ray Disc player that really delivers. Blu-ray playback is excellent, and utilizing Anchor Bay VRS technology, the BDP-83 also delivers excellent upscaling for standard DVD playback. Also, other features, such as SACD and DVD-Audio playback, as well as 2 USB ports for importing images and sound from flash drives, add great audio and video flexibility. The OPPO BDP-83 takes Blu-ray Disc player flexibility and performance to the highest level.

Optoma HD806 1080p DLP Video Projector
At a price of $2,599, the Optoma HD806 DLP Projector is a good value. With its native 1920x1080 (1080p) native pixel resolution and it 2,000 lumen output capability, the video quality is very good. Flesh tones and color saturation produce a natural looking image. Another bonus is that the HD806 has both HDMI and DVI inputs. I found the Optoma HD806 to be a good performing and easy-to-use video projector. To find if it is right for you, check out my review.

Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-ray Disc Player - Product Review and Rating
The Samsung BD-P1500 plays Blu-ray Discs at full 1080p resolution, provides bitstream output for both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD via its HDMI 1.3a output, and is fully playback compatible with standard DVDs, most recordable DVD formats, CDs, and CD-Rs/RWs. Another bonus is that standard DVDs are upscaled up to 1080p via the HDMI output. The BD-P1500 adheres to Profile 1.1 (Bonus View) specifications, and is firmware upgradable via internet download. Yamaha BD-S2900 Blu-ray Disc Player - Product Review and Rating
The BD-S2900 is Yamaha's first Blu-ray Disc player. This player features 1080p/60 or 1080p/24 resolution for Blu-ray Discs, provides bitstream output for both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD via its HDMI 1.3a output, and is compatible with standard DVDs, CDs, and CD-Rs/RWs. The BD-S2900 upscales standard DVDs up to 1080p. The BD-S2900 adheres to Profile 1.1 (Bonus View), and is not upgradable to Profile 2.0 (BD Live). Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD Blu-ray Disc Player - Product Review and Rating
The Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD plays Blu-ray Discs at full 1080p resolution, and provides bitstream output for both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD via HDMI 1.3a output. The BDP-95FD is also playback compatible with standard DVDs and most recordable DVD formats, as well as music CDs and CD-Rs/RWs. Another bonus is that standard DVDs are upscaled via the HDMI output. Yamaha RX-V863 7.2 Channel Home Theater Receiver - Product Review and Rating
The Yamaha RX-V863 7.2 Channel Home Theater Receiver has power, up-to-date features, and an abundance of connectivity options. This receiver is rated to deliver 105 wpc, and features Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD processing. On the video side, the RX-V863 has three HDMI inputs with 1080p pass-through and analog to HDMI video conversion and upscaling. Sherwood BDP-5003 Blu-ray Disc Player - Product Review and Rating
The BDP-5003 is Sherwood's first venture into Blu-ray Disc player territory. Pioneer Elite VSX-91TXH Receiver with HDMI, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Decoding
The Pioneer Elite VSX-91TXH is one of the new-generation receivers that is ready for the future by incorporating onboard Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD surround decoding. In addition, this receiver has extensive connection capabilities, power to spare, and very flexible audio and video operation. If you are looking for a receiver that integrates flexible audio and video connectivity, as well as great audio performance that will not become "obselete" in just a few years, then check out the VSX-91TXH.

Panamax M5400-PM Home Theater Power Management System - Review
You've spent a lot of money and collected a lot home theater components over the years. With each upgrade or addition you have another power cord to plug in, eventually resulting in cord clutter. Vivitek D326WX DLP Video Projector - Product Review and Rating
At an MSRP of $1,199, the Vivitek D326WX DLP Video Projector is a great value. With its extremely compact design, this projector can be placed just about anywhere, and with an included carrying case, can be taken to the office or grandma's house. Infinity Total Solutions Speaker System w/ TSS 3-in-1,TSS-SAT750, and TSS-SUB750
Balancing style, price, and sound quality can be tough, when choosing loudspeakers.
