An LCD Television in the 23-Inch and smaller category is often just the right size for a second room, office, or small apartment. Today's LCD televisions offer great performance, as well as the latest input options for DVD players, and some have outputs for connection to a home theater system. A compact LCD Television is the perfect space saver. Check out some of my current favorites. 1. Samsung LN-T2342H 23-Inch LCD Television
Samsung's LN-T2342H 23-Inch LCD television offers great styling and performance that can fit just about anywhere. With a 16x9 aspect ratio screen, 1366x768 native pixel resolution, 4,000:1 Contrast Ratio, and 8ms response time, this set delivers great image quality, especially from high definition sources. In addtion, the LN-T2342H features two HDMI inputs, a PC monitor input, and built-in NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuners that allow access to both analog and digital television broadcasts. If you are looking for a smaller LCD set for an office or bedroom, or an LCD TV than can double as a large size PC monitor, check out the Samsung LN-T2342H as a possible choice.
2. Olevia 323V 23-Inch LCD Display
If you have never seen the Syntax Olevia brand of LCD televisions, you should take a look. One of the most popular selling brands of LCD Televisions, the Olevias are also some of the best performing sets for the dollar. The 323V listed here features a 23-inch screen, 1366x768 pixel resolution, 8ms response time, and both an HMDI input for high definition sources and a VGA input for use as a PC monitor. The picture quality is better than you would expect for a 23-inch LCD set priced at $500 or Less at most online and offline outlets. Note: To receive HDTV channels you will need an external HD-Tuner, Cable, or Satellite Box.3. Toshiba 20HL67 20-Inch LCD Television
Toshiba's 20HL67 may be small, but it offers both big set features and performance. Hidden behind its modestly sized 20-Inch 16x9 screen is a pixel resolution of 1366x768, a real-world contrast ratio of 700:1, both HDMI and HD-Component Video Inputs, and PC monitor input. Also, with built-in NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuners, this set can receive both analog and HDTV signals, whether over-the-air or via cable (non-premium channels). This set may just be the perfect solution for bedroom, office, or even dorm room.4. Westinghouse SK-19H210S 19-Inch LCD TV
Are you looking for a 19-inch television to replace that old tube set? If so, check out the Westinghouse SK-19H210S. Featuring a 3,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 8ms response time, and 16x9 aspect ratio, the LN22A450 provides a great viewing experience for a smaller size LCD television. Other practical features include, HDMI and component video inputs, ATSC and QAM tuners for reception of both over-the-air and non-scrambled cable HDTV signals, and a speaker system with SRS TruSurround XT audio processing. You can also use this set as computer monitor as it has a VGA input for your PC, which makes it a good candidate for the bedroom, office, or dorm room.
