Choose the Best Home Theater Receiver Brand from the list of finalists

The home theater receiver (also referred to as an AV Receiver) not only provides power to the speakers, but serves as an integrated control center for all of your components, often times providing both audio and video switching. In addition, even moderately priced home theater receivers provide features and quality that just a couple of years ago would have commanded sky high prices, but which brand is best?

I received a lot of nominations, but have narrowed them down to five finalists for your consideration: Denon, Onkyo (includes Integra), Pioneer (includes Pioneer Elite), Sony (includes Sony ES), and Yamaha (includes Aventage). However, some great candidates didn't get enough nominations to make to the final five, such as Anthem, Harman Kardon, Marantz, and NAD. Vote for your favorite from the selected finalists, which are listed alphabetically in the poll form below.

Voting ends at 11:59pm on March 21st - Winners will be announced on March 30th.
