The basic features of the WD TV Live include:
1. Streaming Media Player featuring playback from USB device, home network, and the internet. Access to a host of internet audio/video content providers, including Netflix, HuluPlus, and Spotify.
2. 1080p resolution video output via HDMI.
3. Front and rear mounted USB ports provided for access to content on USB Flash Drives, many Digital Still Cameras, and other compatible devices.
4. Onscreen user interface allows easy setup, operation, and navigation of the WD TV Live media player functions.
5. Built-in Ethernet and WiFi network connection options.
6. Wireless remote control included.
7. Video output connection options include composite (via provided adapter cable) and HDMI.
8. Audio connection options include analog stereo (via 3.5mm adapter) and Digital Optical. Dolby Digital and DTS compatible.
