New Scratch-Proof Coating for CDs and DVDs in the Works
LCD screens, CDs, and DVDs are great examples of practical high technology. However, they can be rendered useless by something as simple as a scratch or crack. Those days may soon be over as TDK has announced a new coating for LCDs, CD, DVDs, and other surfaces (inlcuding the upcoming BluRay discs), that may make them scratch and blemish resistant. Desperate Housewives Towers...in TiVo Weekly Season Pass Ratings
Nielson is getting some interesting competition in the measurement of television ratings as TIVO has access to the viewing and recording habits of its subscribers. According to TIVO, the new ABC show Desperate Housewives is the top show being recorded on a weekly basis by TIVO owners. Other shows included in TIVO's Season Pass Hot 100 (which are shows that TIVO owners have requested be recorded every week) include Lost and Joey.
