1. The Zone 2 and Zone 3 buttons are for accessing Zone 2/3 functions. The Zone Off button can be used to turn either Zone off.
2. The Level button is used to change the volume level of either Zone 2 or Zone 3.
3. The Tone Control button allows tone control in either Zone 2 or Zone 3. Below the Tone Control button are the cursor buttons that are used to actually change the tone characteristics.
4. The HDMI output button sets the HDMI output as the primary video output from the receiver to an HDTV.
5. The digital input button allows the user to assign which digital audio inputs are to be used by the input selectors that are above the drop down panel.
6. The THX mode button selects the THX sound processing options. The Stereo selection button allows for two-channel stereo listing. The Listening mode button accesses Onkyo's additional, proprietary, sound processing options.
7. The Dimmer button adjusts the LED panel brightness.
8. The Memory button adds or erases AM/FM tuner presets, while the Tuning button accesses either manual or automatic AM/FM tuning functions.
9. The next series of buttons access receiver setup functions and allows on-screen menu navigation. The cursors also function as AM/FM tuning buttons when setup functions are not being used.
10. Not pictured is the Headphone output jack, which is located off to the far left of the Zone 2/3 selection buttons.
