Onkyo TX-SR875 7.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver - HDMI Connections

Pictured on this page is a close-up of the four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. The inputs are for connecting DVD, Blu-ray Disc, HD-DVD, HD-Cable or Satellite boxes that have high defintion or upscaling capability. The HDMI output connects to an HDTV that has either an HDMI or DVI-HDCP Connection. (HDMI-to-DVI connection made with adapter cable). HDMI also passes both video and audio signals through the TX-SR875, enabling the receiver pass through or decode several two-channel and surround sound audio formats.
