Pictured on this page is a close-up of the analog Video Connections of VSX-91TXH. Both Composite and S-Video Connections are available on each input and output. Also, all video input signals connected to these inputs can be converted so that they can be passed to the HDMI output for connection to an HDTV.

1. Starting on the left are the analog DVD Player input connections. It is preferred that you connect your DVD player to the VSX-91TXH using Component Video connections.

2. Moving right, there are video input connections that can be used for a cable or satellite box.

3. The next connections are for the analog video outputs of a cable or satellite box. However, if you have an HD Cable or HD Satellite Box, it would be better to use either the Component or HDMI connection option, paired with Digtial Optical or Digital Coaxial Audio Connections.

4. Still moving right, are the VCR1/DVR and VCR2/DVR video connection loops. Having two loops allows the user to connect two VCRs, a VCR and DVR (such as TIVO), a VCR and DVD Recorder, two DVD Recorders, two DVRs, or a DVD Recorder and DVR. Also, since both input and output connections are provided, you can use the video switching functions of the VSX-91TXH to dub audio and video from the source devices connected to the receiver to your video recording devices connect to the VCR1/DVR and VCR2/DVR connection loops or dub between the two, unless the signals are copy-protected.

5. Moving further right there are analog video monitor output connections. You can use these outputs to connect to a TV with composite or S-Video inputs.

6. Still moving to the right there are audio and video outputs for a Zone 2 system. Additional TV and Amplifier/Speaker setup required for Zone 3 operation.

7. Lastly, above the Zone 2 audio/video connections, are the 12 Volt Trigger (used for on/off control in custom installations) and the Sirius Satellite Radio connection. The Sirius Satellite Radio input allows the connection of a Sirius Tuner/Antenna (paid subscription required for program access).
