Here is the Front View of the Yamaha RX-V2700 as it looks when you take it out of the box.

The exposed controls are:

1. On the far bottom left there is the Master Power Button. This button turns on the power for the entire receiver.

2,. Just above the Master Power Button is the Main Zone Power Button. This button turns on the power for the Main Zone Functions of receiver. If you turn the Main Zone Power Button off, you can still use the Zone 2 and/or Zone 3 Functions of the Receiver as long as you don't also turn the Master Power Button Off.

3. Moving to the center of the RX-V2700, you will see the area where the LED front panel Display is located. This display shows the status of your receiver during operation, including input selection, active surround sound channels, processor options, and other information.

4. Just below the LED display area is the Front Panel Door, which is closed in this photo. The Front Panel Door flips down to reveal additional controls and inputs. Check out a more detailed photo look behind this door.

5. Moving to the right side of the RX-V2700, the small button on the top right is the Pure Direct button. This function bypasses extra audio processing circuitry and allows the listener to experience the audio signal as it is generated solely by the source component connected to the receiver.

6. On the bottom right is the Master Volume Control.
