Here is a close-up of three additional connectors that are becoming common on high-end home theater receivers.

On the top left of this close-up photo is the iPod Docking port. This allows the connection of an optional iPod Dock or connection cable that allows you to listen and control your iPod functions using the RX-V2700.

To the right of the iPod Docking Port is the XM Satellite Radio Connector. Here is where you connect the XM Tuner/Ant combination unit to the RX-V2700. Once connected, and if you have a paid subscription, you can tune and listen to XM Satellite Radio channels on the your Receiver. Some XM programing is transmitted in a format called Neural Surround, which is one of the surround sound processing options on this receiver.

Lastly, on the bottom right, is an Ethernet connection that allows the RX-V2700 to be connected to broadband router for accessing internet content, such as Intenet Radio.
