LG BH100 Blu-ray Disc / HD-DVD Combo Player - Overview and Perspective
The BH100 is the new Blu-ray Disc / HD-DVD combo player form LG. Dubbed "Super Multi-Blue", the BH100 plays both Blu-ray Discs and HD-DVDs at full 720p, 1080i, or 1080p resolution via its HDMI output. The BH100 is also playback compatible with standard DVDs and the DVD-R/-RW/+R/+RW recordable formats, but is not compatible with standard audio CD playback. Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray Disc Player - Product Profile
The Sony BDP-S350 allows for true high-definition (720p, 1080i. 1080p) playback of Blu-ray discs. The BDP-S350 can also play back standard DVDs with up to 1080p upscaling via its HDMI outputs. In addition, the BDP-S350 can be used to play back standard audio CDs, including CD-R/RWs. Another advanced feature of the BDP-S350 is that it complies with the Blu-ray Format 1.1 standard, with built-in upgradability to Profile 2.0 via a firmware update.
