OPPO Digital DV-983H DVD Player - Inside Exposed Front View

Pictured on this page is a photo of the inside workings of the DV-983H, as seen from the front of the player. Without getting into technical specifics, on the far left side of the photo, under the black, vented, cover is the Power Supply. Just to right is the DVD/CD disc drive. The main board shown, which appears "wrapped" around the disc drive houses the main audio processing and video decoding circuitry, which features the OPPO/Mediatek Video Decoding Chip. Lastly, to the right of the main board is the video processing board with features the Anchor Bay VRS processing chip and associated circuitry. In fact, on the rear of video processing board, you can actually see the internal view of the HDMI output connection (gold color).
