Starting on the left side of the photo are Sirius and XM satellite radio tuner/antenna connections. The tuner/antenna accessories must be purchased seperately and paid subscription is required to access XM and/or Sirius Satellite Radio progamming.
Moving to the right of the XM/Sirius connections, are the wired remote input connections. These connections are useful for a more custom installation where the user wants to control all components in a home theater system using a single control device.
Continuing to the right are two digital optical audio inputs. These inputs are useful for connecting DVD players, Cable, or Satellite Boxes with digital optical audio outputs. In order to access Dolby Digital or DTS surround sound directly, you must use either these connections or the additional HDMI connections (to be shown later).
Continuing across this connection panel are the AM and FM antenna connections, as well as a set of stereo analog audio inputs. If you have a source component, such as a VCR, or CD player, that does not have digital audio optical outputs, these connections provide a way for you to access an analog stereo signal from these devices.
To right of the stereo audio connections is the row of connections for the satellite speakers and subwoofer. Each connection is color coded for a specific speaker channel and corresponds to the same color coding on the provided speakers cables.
Finally, on the very far right is the AC power receptable. The power cord is provided.
For a close-up look at both the audio and speaker connections shown on this page, proceed to the next two photos in this gallery.
