Pioneer Elite HTS-LX70 Flat Panel Home Theater System - Photo Profile

A new entry in the Home Theater-in-a-box category is the Pioneer Elite HTS-LX70. This system is designed specifically to be a partner with Flat Panel Televisions and Pioneer Blu-ray disc players, with its built-in Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoders and HDMI 1080p pass through connectivity.

The LX70 features stylish design, with a glossy jet-black subwoofer-receiver combination module and extra-small cubic-style speakers. However, unlike some other so-called slylish systems, the LX70 actually sounds good for home theater applications. On the other hand, for about the same price you could probably find a more traditional looking receiver and speakers that would have similar features and sound just as good, but this system is a great style match for Flat Panel TVs and Pioneer's Blu-ray Disc Players.
