What I Didn't Like About GEORGE
1. No Built-in CD Player

4. It has a large external power supply.
5. It is expensive at a price of $549.
Final Thoughts
The concept of GEORGE is a good one, and well executed in terms of sound quality and iPod connectivity and control. Also, the incorporation of the detatchable front panel control is an excellent, practical, idea. However, I feel that GEORGE could be more, with a few additional features. Many Home Theater Receivers already incorporate many of George's features and more, at the same price level or less. On the other hand, GEORGE is very compact and great for an office or second room.
To sum it up: GEORGE looks good, sounds good, is great for iPod users, the detachable Front Panel Wireless Remote Control is a great convenience, but the system is expensive, and lacks a few features that would make it the real "king" of compact audio systems. I give GEORGE a rating of 3.5 Stars out of 5.
Lastly, for those that are wondering what "GEORGE" stands for...according to Chestnut Hill Sound, "George - just a friendly name for an easy to use product".
