Onkyo is a very popular name in home theater receivers, however, you may not have heard of their other brand, Integra. The Integra brand is targeted to the home theater installation market with receivers, amplifiers, preamp/processors, DVD players, and a forthcoming Blu-ray Disc player, that feature advanced control connectivity, such as RS232 and/or Ethernet.

As a result of Integra's custom install product emphasis, you will not find their components sold online or in dealers, such as Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry's, Futureshop, or Ultimate Electronics. You have to go through a custom install dealer, or high-end audio or home theater retailer.

However, despite Integra's niche marketing, their products are not high-priced in comparison to some more esoteric brands, and really deliver where it counts, excellent audio and/or video quality for the money.

Shown on this page is a photo of their CEDIA booth, which includes a large display of their home theater components.

If you want to get more familiar with Integra, check out their well illustrated and detailed Official Website.
