As a result Amimon and Belkin have teamed to develop a wireless HDMI system that they jointly displayed at CES, that can eliminate all the cables needed for the Television, except for the power cable.
Pictured in this photo is a typical wireless HDMI setup. The source components (can be analog or HDMI) are connected to the transmitter, shown on the table. The transmitter sends the signal to a receiver that is attached to the back of the TV (see next page for photo). Then just connect a short HDMI cable from the receiver to the Televisions own HDMI input.
Although the transmitter can convert analog video sources to HDMI for transmission, it does not do any upscaling function. The output resolution will be the same as the input resolution.
In addition, all signals are transmitted in their original uncompressed form. This results in no degradation of a high-definition source signal.
