The popularity of home theater has increased the demand for video projectors, and this year video projectors in all price ranges were evident at CES. On the top end, the best projector I saw at the show was the Marantz VP-12S4. Featuring the Texas Instruments 16x9 720p Dark Chip 3, 4,000:1 contrast ratio, 2,000 hour lamp life, and a host of input options, including dual HDMI inputs. However, in addition to these impressive specs, the inclusion of a Konica-Minolta lens assembly definitely solidifies this projector as a top performer.
