This is not your ordinary switcher. Whether you need to expand the inputs for your home theater system or need a patch bay for a video editing system, the VS-712E may just fill the bill. This unit features seven composite and S-Video inputs, three component video inputs, seven analog stereo inputs, and several digital audio inputs. In addition, this switcher also has three video outputs (one for recording and two for monitor display). To add to its flexibility, the VS-712EX also has composite and S-Video to component upconversion, greatly simplifying the connections to an HDTV or AV Receiver.
