Moving to the right is a series of inputs. First is the HDMI input, which allows the connection of external high definition devices, such as a Blu-ray or HD-DVD player, HD-cable box or satellite box, Sony PS3, or other source that has an HDMI output connection.
To the right of the HDMI connection is a combined VGA PC/Component connetion. This connection does double duty as both a PC monitor input for a Laptop or Desktop PC, and, with a provided adapter, is also used for connection of Component Video cables (red, blue, green) from a standard or high definition source such as an additional DVD player, Blu-ray, HD-DVD, etc...'
Moving to the right of the PC/Component input are standard analog video inputs (S-Video, Composite) as well as a set of Analog Stereo Audio inputs. This is where you would connect a VCR or analog camcorder for viewing through the projector.
On the right side of the connection panel is Subwoofer output. This output allows the connection of a powered subwoofer to be used in conjunction with the MovieMate's own built-in speaker system.
Lastly, to the right of the subwoofer output is the Digital Optical output. This connection is used when connecting the audio output of the DVD player section of the MovieMate 72 with an external home theater surround sound audio system.
