The Toshiba 46WX800U features 3D display capability, network media player capabilities, and utilizes LED edge-lighting. The 46-inch 46WX800 also features a 1920x1080 (1080p) native pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate with added 240Hz backlight scanning, 4 HDMI inputs, and a two USB ports for accessing image files stored on flash drives. Here is a look at some aspects of the 46WX800U's 2D video performance.
The following tests were conducted with an Oppo DV-980H DVD Player connected directly to the 46WX800U. The DVD player was set for NTSC 480i resolution and connected to the 46WX800U via composite video cable so that test results reflected the video processing performance of the 46WX800, which upscales input signals to 1080p for display. The test results are shown as measured by the Silicon Optix (IDT) HQV DVD Benchmark Disc.
