Flat panel televisions are quickly becoming quite commonplace on store shelves and in consumers' homes and the LCD television is the most popular type. 1. Sony KDL32EX729 32-inch 3D LCD TV with LED Edge Lighting
Sony brings 3D viewing to smaller screen sizes. The KDL32EX729 is a 32-inch 16x9 LCD television that incorporates LED Edge Lighting and a native pixel resolution of 1920x1080 (1080p). This set includes some of the latest technology, such as both 2D and 3D viewing (3D glasses and 3D content required), four HDMI 1.4a inputs, 120Hz screen refresh rate, supplemented by 240Hz processing, and both ATSC and QAM tuners. The ATSC tuner allows reception of the over-the-air HDTV signals and the QAM tuner allows Digital/HD-cable (non-premium channels) reception.In addition, the KDL32EX720 also includes WiFi capability (accessory adapter required) and internet widgets that provide access to internet-based content, such as Netflix, YouTube, and more. However, getting down to the basics, the KDL32EX729 delivers excellent detail, color consistency, and contrast, and LED Edge Lighting is very energy efficient.
2. Vizio E3D320VX 32-inch 3D Smart TV
Vizio is one of the most aggressively priced and sucessful TV brands in the U.S. The E3D320VX 32-Inch LCD TV packs it in with 3D viewing (using comfortable and inexpensive passive 3D glasses), LED Edge Light system, 1920x1080 (1080p) native pixel resolution, and wide contrast ratio. The E3D320VX also has supplies 2 HDMI inputs and PC monitor input. On the audio side, SRS TruSurround HD is included for better sound performance from TV speakers. Another bonus is the incorporation of built-in Wired (Ethernet) and Wireless (Wi-Fi) internet connectivity for access to Vizio's Internet Apps, that includes services such as, Netflix, Vudu, and more. Definitely include this set on your shopping consideration list.3. Samsung UN32D4003 32-inch LED/LCD TV
Samsung brings LED edge-lighting to the 32-inch screen size. The UN32D4003 also features great styling (the TV is only 1.9-inches thick - not counting the base). Featuring a 16x9 screen, 1366x768 native pixel resolution (approx 720p), wide contrast ratio, and 60-Hz refresh rate, the set delivers a very pleasing image. In addition, with 2 HDMI inputs, ATSC tuner, and USB port you can not only enjoy true high definition video from a variety of sources, but still images and music can be accessed from compatible USB-equipped playback devices, such as flash drives, media players, and digital cameras. Another bonus is the LED edge-lighting makes the UN32D4003 very energy efficient. If you are looking for a space-saving, but high quality, LCD TV, that will also save on your electric bill, definitely check out the Samsung UN32D4003.4. Panansonic TC-L32E5 32-inch LED/LCD TV
The Panasonic TC-L32E5 is a compact 32-inch LED/LCD TV that features great styling. With a 16x9 aspect ratio screen, 1080p native resolution (which is unusual at this screen size), wide contrast ratio, and 60-Hz refresh rate supported by backlight scanning, the set delivers a great picture. Also provided are 4 HDMI inputs, ATSC tuner, and both an SD Card slot and USB port for accessing still images and music from compatible USB-equipped playback devices, such as flash drives, media players, and digital cameras.
In addition, another great feature included on this TV, that is also very unusual for this screen size, is built-in internet connectivity for access to an abundance of streaming content, such as movies and TV shows from providers such as Netflix, Vudu, HuluPlus, and more... If you are looking for a full-featured TV in a smaller screen size, definitely check out the Panasonic TC-L32E5.

5. JVC JLC32BC3002 Black Crystal 32-inch LCD TV
The JLC32BC3002 is a good example of JVC's approach to LCD television technology. Featuring a 32-inch screen 1366x768 (approx 720p) native pixel resolution and wide contrast ratio, this set delivers a detailed image with good color balance and contrast. In addition, features such as two HDMI and 1 PC monitor input, as well as ATSC/QAM tuners provide access to a variety of program sources. On the audio side, this set is great if you don't want the hassle of a home theater system as it features a "XinemaSound" speaker system backed up by a 10wpc amplifier. An addition bonus is the incorporation of a USB input for viewing digital still photos stored on compatible USB devices.6. Panasonic VIERA TC-L37U3 37-inch LED/LCD TV
Panasonic has a great reputation for its big screen Plasma TVs, but they also make great LCD TVs now in both large and small screen sizes. The TC-L37U3 is a great performing set in the 37-inch screen size. Some of the features include 1080p native resolution, excellent contrast, and very wide 178 degree viewing angle, due to its use of an LED backlit IPS panel, making it easy two watch from just any seating position. Also included are three HDMI inputs and built-in ATSC tuner for access of over-the-air HDTV signals.
One bonus is the inclusion of an SD Card Slot which allows the playback of still images stored on SD Cards. The TC-L37U3 also has a game mode that shortens the response time between a connected game controller and video game images. If you are looking for a 37-inch LCD television for a smaller space and don't need a lot of frills, but still delivers a great high definition picture, check out the Panasonic TC-L37U3.
7. Sharp LC-32LE440U 32-inch LED/LCD TV
Who says you have to buy a large screen television to get the latest features? The newest technology being promoted on many new large-screen LCD televisions is LED backlighting. However, while most manufacturers are using this technology exclusively in large screen sets, Sharp is "spreading the wealth" in all screen sizes. The Sharp LC-32LE440U is a 32-inch LCD television that not only includes LED edge lighting, but also offers 720p resolution for good detail. This set also features 3 HDMI inputs, along with PC monitor and USB inputs. If you are looking for a great choice in a smaller screen LCD television, check out the Sharp LC-32LE440U.8. LG 32LS3400 32-inch LED/LCD TV
LG has a great reputation making stylish, and excellent performing, LCD PC monitors, but they are also heavily invested in both LCD and Plasma Televisions. The 32LS3400 is a 32-inch LCD TV that utilizes LED edge lighting and delivers great images with its 1280x720 (720p) native pixel resolution, and excellent contrast ratio. Also included are two HDMI, one component video, one USB input, and ATSC and QAM tuners for over-the-air and unscrambled HD cable signal sources. On the audio side, the 32LD450 incorporates "Clear Voice Technology", which insure clear dialog when sound effects get louder, as well as Virtual Surround sound, supported by a 10 watt-per-channel amplifier. The Toshiba 32SL400U is a great LCD TV to consider if you looking for a smaller screen. With a 32-inch screen size, 16x9 aspect ratio, 1280x720 (720p) native resolution, wide viewing angle, and efficient LED edge-lighting, this set provides a good, viewable image. In addition, its 2 HDMI inputs, 1 HD-compatible Component video input, PC VGA input, USB port, and ATSC/QAM tuner allow access to high definition signals from a variety of sources, including 1080i sources, such HDTV broadcasts. Note: 1080i and 1080p input signals are scaled down to 720p for screen display. For audio, this set includes a "inivisible" thin profile speaker system that provides decent sound.
