The sound is fantastic, 110w per channel really sounds great. It comes with a microphone that you place where you sit, and it will automatically adjust the speakers so you are in the center of all the sound.
What did you like about your home theater receiver?
The feature I like the most about this receiver is the plethora of inputs. Six HDMI, 2 component, and the receiver up converts everything to 1080p and sends the output to the TV via the HDMI cable.
What didn't you like about your home theater receiver?
The book is more like a novel. They need to break it up into two books, a quick reference guide and a detailed book. The remote is very busy, and poorly laid out. However, the VSX-1020-K does great with a Logitech Harmony Universal Remote.

I would highly recommend this receiver, it sounds great and has all the features you will need, at a price that won't break the bank!
