After going through three defective Dell TV's and countless hours in taking apart the home theater setup and reinstalling... was ready for a TV which worked, Returned to Sony. Paid few hundred more than with Dell. Worth every dollar.
This 1080p TV is easy to set up, picture is excellent, sound from TV itself is not a good as old CRT units from Sony in the past; however, compared to other flat panel plasma and lcd units, sound is better than average.
Easy to set up a custom view for watching movies and a different setup for video/audio for sports, etc. Also, easy to use remote to zoom in and eliminate the black bars taking up picture viewing area.

What didn't you like about your television?
The playback of blacks is not as good as plasma tv. Newer units have greater number of hdmi inputs, two on this unit. PS3 will only play when direct to TV hdmi and NOT through a hdmi switch.

Sony may charge a little more than some brands, their customer service is far from perfect.. not bad just not as good as it should be.(compared to other company's customer service, Sony is excellent). Quality is there,, have had NO problems in a year and half, which is what I expect with Sony.
