Lessons Learned

  • Set your home theatre, at the best of your knowledge.
  • Read the manual and the information available on the internet.
  • Read, read and read>
  • then try to tinker with settings, one at a time preferably.

How did you position your loudspeakers and subwoofer?

For me it was a straight forward operation. I put them in places where it was more convenient, because my set is in my living room, and not in a specialized room.

And then I let Audyssey do its magic.

How did you organize your system's wiring and cabling?

I have a custom made furniture with holes in the back. I hang my TV on its top, beneath it is my center speaker and underneath all the electronics. behind this piece of furniture it's a jungle of wires, but from the front the looks are decent

How did you position your seating?

My main seating is a 3 place sofa right in front of the TV about 2.5 meters away ( about 8 feet)

How did you block unwanted lighting?

With curtains, doors and louvers.
