From the article: Backyard Home Theater
With high gasoline prices, more expensive air-fares, and high theme park ticket prices, getting away for the summer is certainly more difficult these days, especially if you have a family. One fun way to avoid discontent on the homefront because of your inability to take your clan on summer vacation, is to set up an outdoor home theater. Headphones for Outdoor Home Theater
- I enjoyed your article on the Outdoor Home Theater Experience for audio is there a way to incorporate multiple sets of headphones as an option instead of loud speakers? ------------------------------------------ Thank you for your comments and question. As far as headphones for outdoor home theater, you could, as long as the stereo or home theater receiver you are using has a headphone jack (video projectors don't have headphone connections). As far as using multiple headphones, you would need some sort of headphone junction box connected to the headphone jack of the stereo or home theater receiver that would allow you to plug in multiple sets of headphones. Of course, using headphones does limit your mobility, due to the headphone connection cables. If you use wireless headphones, you would have to have a system that is compatible with multiple sets of headphones - they would all have to be the same brand, model, and assigned to the same wireless frequency. Of course, range might be a factor, as well as possible interference. Let me know if this info helps.
