Mitsubishi WD-73735 73-Inch DLP Projection Television - Product Of The Week

Friday January 2, 2009
Are you looking for a really big screen TV for the upcoming Super Bowl, but the economic downturn means you can't afford a 65-inch Plasma or LCD set? Well, don't fret. For about half the price of a 65-inch LCD or Plasma set, you can buy an even larger 73-inch HDTV of the DLP variety.

The Mitsubishi WD-73735, with its 73-inch, 16x9, screen, is one of the largest DLP-based projection televisions. Featuring a native pixel resolution of 1920x1080 and 1080p upscaling, this set delivers the detail to fill its large screen. Other features include an HDTV Tuner (ATSC and QAM), 3 HDMI 1.3 inputs, and front mounted USB input for display of digital photos up to 5 megapixels. There is even a set of front mounted Component Video Inputs. Additional bonuses include: 3D viewing-ready, and 120Hz refresh rate.

If you like your Television really big, check this one out. You won't find an LCD or Plasma Television in this screen size anywhere near the price of similar-sized DLP projection set. For full details, download the User Manual.

The 73735 is awesome, especially when viewed in a showroom next to the Sammy 67″ and the Mitsu 65735! I just bought the 65735 because it was half the price of the 73″, but everytime I go back to CC, I long in envy at the 73″, it is very significantly larger and just as clear!
