I don't normally write reviews or promote specific DVD or Blu-ray Disc movie titles on this site, but I couldn't do my job without having a library of discs onhand to test the equipment that I do review. One Blu-ray disc that has become available recently is definitely worth your consideration, especially if you have a 7.1 channel surround sound system.
Megamind is the first Blu-ray Disc release to incorporate a full 7.1 Channel encoded soundtrack in the Dolby TrueHD surround sound format. So, if you have a Blu-ray Disc player and a 7.1 channel home theater receiver with Dolby TrueHD decoding, or a Blu-ray Disc player and home theater receiver with 7.1 channel analog audio connections, you are in for a real surround sound treat. NOTE: This is the 2D version of the film, the 3D version will be released on Blu-ray at a later date.

Nice! This would really be good with a very awesome dvd home theater. You have to remember to get good reviews before buying one though.:)
The 7.1 channel Dolby TrueHD soundtrack is only on the Blu-ray version – the DVD version is Dolby Digital 5.1 – standard DVD does not support Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio.
