As part of the annual International CES, Epson has arrived with a new video projector that is targeted straight at the mainstream consumer. Priced at just $899, the PowerLite Home Cinema 750HD is the brightest home theater projector that Espon has offered.

At its core the 750HD combines 3LCD and Bright 3D Drive technologies to delivers the optimum 2D and 3D viewing experience. This projector has a native 720p display resolution and can deliver up to 3,000 Lumens,of light output in both color and b&w. This capability not only counteracts the brightness loss when watching in 3D mode, but projected images are bright enough to view in a room that is partially lit. Even with its powerful light output, the lamp has a 4,000 hour life in bright mode, and up to 5,000 in Eco mode (for 2D, Eco mode is more than enough in a dark or dimly lit room).

For 3D viewing, the 750HD incorporates RF Active Shutter glasses which are comfortable and provide a wide viewing angle. One pair of glasses are included with the projector, and extras can be purchased directly through Epson.

Finally, its compact design makes it easy to place, and even pack up and travel to grandma's house, the office, or classroom. In fact, its bright light output makes it a great choice for outdoor viewing on those long Summer nights. Images provided by CEA and Epson
