Black Friday 2013 Prediction - $100 32-inch LCD TVs

Well, that is what some are predicting. However, that isn't all - some 55-inch 3D or Smart TVs may only set you back about $500, while a no-frills 60-inch LCD TV may require you to only squeeze $600 from your wallet (some 60-inch Plasmas may be priced even lower).

If this does come to pass, it could be a great boon to consumers, but is also not so good for retailers and manufacturers as that drives already thin profit margins for retailers even lower, not to mention the continued losses some TV makers have been living through the past couple of years.

As a result, in 2014, we may see a further shake-out of the number of TV makers willing to stay in the market - especially the highly competitive U.S. market (Pioneer, Philips, and Mitsubishi are examples of past casualties - and Panasonic, Sharp, and Sony have had their struggles).

Of course, all the above is speculative, we won't know for sure what the actual prices will be until those notorious Black Friday Ads start leaking out later in October and early November - but stay tuned, this could be the best year ever to buy a TV - no matter what type, size, or features you are looking for.

For more details on possible Black Friday TV sale prices, as well as information on the current state of TV sales in general, read the reports from Display Search and Dealnews.
