When you first turn on your Sony Media Player SMP-N100, it will take you through the steps for "Easy Setup."  But don't be fooled, you're not done.  The player is not connected to your home network or the internet and the included apps don't appear in the menu.  You will still need to configure the network settings and download the online content that comes with the player.

The Sony Media Player Sony Media Player SMP-N100 can connect to your home network wirelessly, or you can connect using an Ethernet cable — a wired connection.  This is often more reliable and faster than a wireless connection.  Faster connections are required for high-definition movies.
