In order to operate the SageTV STX-HD100 HD Media Extender, you must install the SageTV Media Center Ver 6 Software on your host PC. The software's menu system is accessible on your PC, and is also accessible by the STX-HD100 via your network setup. In other words, you can use the Media Center Ver 6 Software on both your PC and the Media Extender to access audio, video, and still files on your PC. First, shown on this page is the welcome screen that displays when you open the Media Center Ver 6 Software on your PC. You must open the software on your PC first in order for the SageTV STX-HD100 can access it over the network. Once the software is open, the same operating menus are accessible either on your PC or the Media Extender.
