The following tests were conducted with an LG RC897T DVD Recorder/VCR Combo using the HDMI output connected directly to a Westinghouse LVM-37w3 37-inch LCD television with 1080p native resolution. The Blu-ray Disc player was set for 1080p output so that the test results reflected the video processing performance of the RC897T with regards to standard DVD playback upscaling. The test results are shown as measured by the Silicon Optix HQV DVD Benchmark Disc.
