There are many loudspeakers to choose from. However, balancing style, price, and sound quality can be tough. If you are looking for new set of loudspeakers for your home theater, but don't want to crow out your room with large floor standing speakers and a large box subwoofer, then you might want to check out the stlyish, compact, and great sounding TSS Loudspeakers from Infinity. The system I reviewed consisted of a TSS 3-in-1 speaker that housed all three front channels, two compact TSS-SAT750 satellite speakers for surrounds, and a compact TSS-SUB750 subwoofer. The Listening Test and Evaluation

Audio Performance - TSS 3-in-1 Left, Center, Right Speaker

I found that the TSS Home Theater Speaker system delivered clear sound across a wide range of frequencies and a well-balanced surround sound image.

The TSS 3-in-1 is an unusual speaker in that the Left, Center, and Right channel speakers are housed within a single, thin, tubular-like housing about 40-inches long. However, despite this design, the 3-in-1 actually supplied a good Left/Center/Right image. The sounds from the left and right channels projected to the sides beyond the physical length of the speaker. Although not as effective as having separately positioned speakers, this design provides a very adquate sound spread in the small and medium-sized test rooms.

In addition, the center channel speaker portion delivered a very good dialog and vocal presence. Examples of good vocal performance: recordings from Norah Jones ( Don't Know Why, and Cold, Cold Heart), Lisa Loeb ( I Do and Truthfully from Firecracker, Queen's Freddie Mercury ( Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions), and Ann Wilson of Heart - (Crazy on You from Dreamboat Annie).

In addition, the TSS 3-in-1 also did well with both popular music, such as Blue Man Group's The Complex and classical music cuts, such as Joshua Bell's recording of West Side Story Suite.

Another good audio test was the opening credit theme from The Italian Job (DVD, Blu-ray, and HD-DVD versions), which has some excellent subtleties that challange some speakers. In this case the subtleties were reproduced well, but not quite as accurate as they were on my Klipsch Synergy B3 bookshelf and C2 center channel speakers.
